Choose a scope before a sale.
Select an archive item and version. Third-party publications and rights outside COTO’s control are excluded.
Specify a territory, a field of use, or both. Exclusivity and retained rights belong in the written agreement.
Verified payment and the required executed terms precede any recorded ownership transfer.
A PDF download does not itself transfer ownership. Draft scopes are proposals, not contracts. Published research remains attributed to its authors.

- Configure USD prices for each item and approved rights scope.
- Connect hosted checkout and verify payment notifications on the server.
- Test payment, refund, agreement and access flows before enabling purchases.
